Chalet Les Marmottons

Chalet Les Marmottons is situated about 150 mtrs downhill from the centre of the town, just opposite the beautiful Savoyar d church. The Chalet faces south and west and is located at the end of a short private drive. There is plenty of parking outside the chalet.

 

The Chalet was built in the mid 1970's by a local ski guide. It has a large south-facing terrace and west-facing balconies and lovely views of the Meribel valley.

Accommodation

The accommodation is on the first and second floors of the building with a short flight of steps up to the main entrance.

Inside, the entrance hall leads through to the lounge which has a sunken log fire and french doors leading to the south-facing terrace and to the west-facing balcony. Open wooden stairs lead from the lounge to the upper floor of the chalet. From the lounge a short corridor leads to a spacious dining room and kitchen. Here there is also direct access onto terrace.

Also on this level are a west-facing twin bedroom (bedroom 1) with balcony, and ensuite bathroom and a toilet, located off the entrance hall.

There is also a further double bedroom (bedroom 2) with separate shower room and toilet.

Upstairs there is one double bedroom (bedroom 3) and two twin bedrooms (bedrooms 4 and 5). All bedrooms on this level have en suite bathrooms.

Bedroom 4 also has a mezzanine floor with twin beds under the eaves. The slope of the roof restricts the area with full head height but it is spacious (circa 10sq mtrs) making this an excellent family room.

Above the lounge there is a small "coin montagne" with television and video player

There is a telephone in the chalet for local calls..
