Meribel, Les Trois Vallees France Self catering apartments, Meribel, the original ski resort and
main ski centre where our apartments are situated, is at 1,600 mtrs in the
middle of the world famous "Les Trois Vallees". This huge ski area
includes the other resorts in the Meribel valley, Mottaret and Les Allues, as
well linking to Courchevel, La Tania, Val Thorens, Les Menuires and St Martin
des Bellevilles. |

Meribel claims to be the largest ski
area in the world with over 600 kms of pistes, serviced by around 200 lifts.
The resort rises to 3,300 mtrs and there are an enormous number of snow guns
to provide an excellent covering of snow throughout the season. The variety
of runs ensures there is excellent skiing for all levels. Meribel
also offers a wide variety of night-life. In addition to the many pubs and
restaurants it has a swimming pool with flume, climbing wall, skating rink
and bowling alley. For the more adventurous there is also paragliding and
hanggliding. There are a number of ski schools and crèches, taking children
from around 6 mths of age. |

The
prices quoted are on a weekly basis for the rental of the apartment including
electricity, heating, water and local taxes. A deposit of 30% of weekly
rental should be sent to secure your reservation and the balance plus
security deposit paid one month prior to the first day of your holiday. A
security deposit of £250 is payable (with the balance of your holiday cost)
which will be refunded to you upon return of the apartment keys after your
holiday. The security deposit may be subject to a deduction for any
additional cleaning costs or breakages advised to us by our agents. You may also
be liable for any damage in excess of the deposit amount. However, please be
re-assured that we have made deductions on very few occasions. |
Keys are
issued on receipt of your final payment (i.e. around two/three weeks ahead of
your holiday). Bed linen and towel hire are also available by arrangement.
Please check for costs. The
accommodation is available from 4.00 p.m. on the first day of the rental
until 10.00 am on the last day unless otherwise arranged. The apartment
should be left clean and tidy with dishes/cutlery/glasses clean and stowed
away and hired linen left in one pile in the lounge. Any
difficulties with the accommodation during your holiday are handled locally
by a British managed company based in the resort, details of which you will
find in the handbook that we leave in the apartment. Although
we are unable to make recommendations or to make bookings in resort on your
behalf, we can answer general questions about the resort, ski or bike hire,
activities, etc. and on ways of getting to and around the resort. The
information we give is as known to us at that time. Naturally we apologise if
circumstances change by the time of your holiday, but we are sure you will
understand that we cannot be held responsible for these changes. |

Cancellation |
|
|
If for
any reason you do wish to cancel please advise us by telephone as soon as
possible and then confirm in writing. We will always try to re-let to
minimise your loss and if you advise us more than one month prior to the
holiday, we retain only your deposit. Should
you cancel within one month of the scheduled first day of your holiday we
will attempt to re-let and if successful will deduct only the loss incurred
subject to a minimum retainer of the deposit. If we are unable to re-let the
apartment, we regret, no refund will be made. |
