British Virgin Islands

The islands are located in the north east of the Caribbean between Puerto Rico and the windward Islands of St Martin and Antigua. You can sail all year around although the low season is from September to mid December. During this period you will find it much quieter, alternatively during peak season around Christmas and Easter the whole area will be very lively – take your choice.

The yacht is based at Nanny Cay on Tortola. This is an ideal situation for cruising all around the BVI or the US VI to the west. The cruising allows you to island hop stopping at different locations for lunch and in the evening. A sheltered anchorage is always close to hand. Alternatively you can make some longer trips. The cruising is as challenging as you wish to make it.

The yacht can easily be handled by 2/3 people, although a good standard of sailing is required to ensure a safe holiday.

When you arrive in Tortola you will be met at the airport and taken to the yacht which will already have been prepared for you. You will receive a full briefing on the yacht and it’s equipment, and also on the cruising area. If you need other equipment for snorkelling, windsurfing or diving this can also be provided.

Once you are comfortable with everything on the yacht you are free to sail away. If at any time you have a problem just call our managing agent and they will immediately help, if necessary coming to assist you.

There are a number of ways to get to Tortola. From the US directly to Tortola or from elsewhere via Porto Rico, the US Virgin Islands or Antigua.
